This house was built over 130 years ago and remained abandoned for many years before a family bought it.
What they’ve done with it is incredible! Here’s how it looks now…
The house, constructed in 1887, was considered too dangerous to enter, appearing on the verge of collapsing at any moment.
When people wanted to buy this grand ruin, they didn’t even bother thinking about it, but everything changed when local residents, Jim and Jean Leaman, stepped in.
After witnessing how the condition of the house had deteriorated over the decades, the retired couple’s love for classical architecture in the form of ruins inspired them to purchase the house.
After five years of daily work on the house, they managed to transform the ruin into a magical place that everyone can call home.
The transformation is almost surreal! But wait until you see the interior…
This is how the house looked initially.
But this is how it appeared after the restoration.
The interior will leave you breathless.
It looks straight out of a Harry Potter movie.
The floors are made of five different types of wood, and a rainbow of colors filters through the glass panels.
Each of the five rooms on the second floor is uniquely decorated and has a special charm.
But this small attic room is the perfect place for a study!
What it looked like and what they’ve done with it is truly hard to believe.
It took a lot of work, time, and money, but they turned the ruin into a cozy and warm home.
